Default Indoor karting race at USGP-NEED DRIVERS!

I'm attempting to get a karting event together in Indy, for Friday September 26th to kick off the USGP F1 Weekend.

For those of you who have done these before, you know how fun it is. This will be a 2 and a half hour LaMans (team endurance) race. I'm partial to the endurance race, as it's more time on track, and teams from individual regions can get together. Plus, pit stops make things really interesting. We'll split up the Indy guys so we don't run laps around all you amatures from places that aren't The Racing Capital of the World.

Helmets and race suits are provided. Catoring is available for an additional $11 per person.

www.fastimesindoorkarting.com

These are not kiddie karts. These are 270cc European Racing Karts.

You cannot just bury the throttle and steer. You're talking precision rack and pinion steering, combined with working the rear wheel streering, and serious finesse to get you around the track fast.

Here's a picture of Fastime's famous corkscrew. Flat out, just shy of 40MPH, brake late, drift it just right, and hammer down the hill. WooHOOO!

Show some sack, and you can drift it off the crest of the hill, all the way around the entire upper section at full throttle.

UPDATE: How does Friday at 6:00 PM work? That's gotta work.
Only other option is 2-5:30 (doesn't work for many coming in from out of town).

Anyone, let me know what your thoughts are, so I can structure this thing to most people's liking.

WE MUST COMMIT BY JULY 5TH TO SECURE THIS!!

Get your team of 4-6 people together now!

Cost will be ~$80 or less, depending on the number of people. Or, you can pay by team, $325. Teams of 3-5 would work well, 6 if you're really cheap.

This is a flagrant cross post. Cut me some slack, it's well worth it!!!

I forgot about that. You are the national champ, so far amongst the Subaru crowd. I swear, it's always you of the "older" generation, from knowing what to do with rear wheel drive. I got whooped by my dad (25 years older than me), after giving him hell forever about knowing which side the gas was on. Suppose those old boats you used to use for cars had the gas on the right too. You old people SUCK!

If you missed it, Bonzo, since it's gotten warmer this year, the upper part of the track has had most of the rubber pulled up off the racing line. Now, when you catch air off the hill going up, you really get thrown sideways, and just about drift a perfect semicircle around the entire upstairs at WOT. That's some rear wheel steering. And the corkscrew is extra tricky now. I spun it, first time trying when the local guys went there last time.

Neither can I. I just hope I can get half the thing filled, by this weekend, to lock it in. This timeslot won't last.

You know, I just realized, EVERYONE who has been there before, is in for a private race. And you guys haven't even done a full private event yet. I wish I could convey how incredible this is, to those who have not done it.
