Default NAPA oil filter?

So I go to NAPA to purchase oil change parts. I used to run a service shop, and in cutting filters open, I noticed NAPA Gold parts are excellent. Anyway, they bring me this little filter. I look at the cross-reference, and it crosses to a Fram 6607. That's not my Subie filter, thank you. I ask them to cross a 3593A, and they don't have a cross on it. I ask them to reference a Purolator 14460, and he brings me a filter of the proper size - a NAPA 1334. Does anybody else use NAPA parts, and if so, what filter do you use?

napa oil filters are made by a company called Wix, who makes oil filters for race cars and other stuff. generall a good oil filter to use and I will use them when I cannot find a Mobil 1 filter or K&N filter in stock

But the original question remains: what is the correct NAPA/Wix filter for the Subaru?

i would just buy all the ones that should fit and take back the ones that dont

when i had my neon, it turned out that dodge viper filters fit on it too, as well as jeep cherokee filters

both where much bigger with more filtering area, i used the viper one cause it was huge

I purchase Carquest 1334 filters, they are made by WIX - 1334 will probably be the same as the NAPA part number.

Thanks rilles, so long as I'm not the only one using this filter.

Napa Gold is the high end Wix filter. Just like other premium versions I guess.

Wix is on the expensive side too. well over $7. And I fully believed in them...... until I cut it open. More filter paper than most, more folds, but... no by-pass valve. That made me a bit nervous.
