Post Cross drilled Rotors

i just recently bought some cross drilled rotors from dayle at motorsports warehouse because i was about to have to replace my stock rotors anyway. the rotors from dayle are zinc plated to avoid rust and i went ahead and grabbed some carbon fiber pads. was this a good buy? i am starting to wonder if i got what i paid for?! the stock rotors and pads would have cost me around $700.00 and that is what i paid for the stuff i bought from dayle. but now that i think about it i am not sure if his rotors are any bigger than stock, i think they are just drilled and coated with zinc. can anyone provide me with some insight here?? did i make a mistake in buying them? thanks.

$700 for your rotors? I replaced my rotors with drilled/slotted rotors from Bradi for about $150, if memory serves.

One thing I'm certain of, is that your new CD rotors are not going to be detectably larger than your stock rotors.

$700 for a full set of rotors and Carbon-Metallic pads sounds a bit steep.

As for are they worth it... I think so. My stock rotors were always warping. I've been VERY happy with the CD rotors I have now. I have heard the warnings about drilled rotors and cracking, but 55,000 miles later even if they cracked today, I would still buy another set of CD rotors.
