Default Need Help with Headgasket on a DOHC 2.5

Okay I have done some reading and I and it seems that I need to take out the cams and remove the valve cover to do the headgasket. What I am hoping for is someone to give me the step buy step on this so I don't break any thing. Is the valve cover just held on by RTV sealant once you remove the 6 bolts? Do I have to remove the cam wheels that the timing belt goes on? If so how? Any help would be greatly apprected.
Thanks
Joshua

yes, the valve covers are only held on by RTV sealant and those bolts...
yes, you need to remove the cam gears, you need a special tool to hold them w/o causing damage, altho I used a pair of vise grips and a rag to hold them together and used a breaker bar to get those bolts off.

basicly, after you get the timing belt off, its just removing the valve covers, then get the cam gears off, then take off the cam journals, remove the cams, then take out the head bolts and take off the heads... its much easier to do all this with the motor out of the car, but it can be done with the motor in the car...

make sure you torque the head bolts correctly! or you will be asking for problems in the long run...

Edit: nevermind the question is on a DOHC not a SOHC
