Default foglights

I have a 1995 legacy ls. I want to install foglights. In the front of the car, about a foot under the headlights on either side, there is a black ridged panel where foglights would go. Is there any way to remove this panel without destroying it? I can't even tell if it is attached or not.

If foglights were an option on that year, then the plastic should be removable as the dealer would have to do it if you chose factory fogs.

The black plastic just pops out with a little help. No worry on breaking stuff

i have an ls too with the foglights, and i'm positive that black plastic pops out because the diameter of it is the exact same as the foglights that go there. as far as getting the stock foglights, check on ebay, i've seen them on there a bunch of times.

As far as I'm concerned, the factory fogs suck. Which is why I will be removing mine before too long to replace with aftermarket driving/fog lights.

That, and I tried to tighten the right one up and the bolts snapped off, so I now only have 1 light in, and 1 light out.

No.. they look just like the headlights, only smaller light output.

And I'm open to offers too, as I'd like to get a set of PIAAs..

You can kinda see it in these pics:
