The EJ25 exhaust bolt patterns are the same as the EJ20. I'm currently using Maxim Works (WRX Headers) on my car.

You'll need a crossmember so that there's a place for the up pipe to go.

You'll also need to modify the Up-pipe to clear the EJ25 Head flange. It's 1 inch larger where the up pipe goes.

Good Luck.

there is no such thing as a quick turbo

i did an ej22t transplant, and thought it would be all nice and clean, so many custom parts had to be made. its crazy, 8 months and 3000 bucks later the car is still not done.

If you put the stock up pipe from the WRX on the EJ25, there's a little protrusion out of the back of the head, at the valve cover.. It's about 1" long, just enough to be a pain in the ...

Anyways, you have to cut the up pipe and weld in a little offset to clear that protrusion.

It's easy to see once you have everything taken apart. The easier way to go about things is to buy yourself a custom up-pipe that's sold by uniquemotorsports.com (Subachad) and bolt it up to your stock manifold.

By doing that you skip the need for the crossmember too, and yes, you can still bolt up the TD04 turbo from the WRX.

Have fun.. Good luck...

Oh yeah, there's no such thing as a "Quick" turbo upgrade, unless you have mucho mulah and lots of engines to replace the one that blew up. You'll need engine management big time.

run low boost like 5 and you dont need ecu managment. i must be blessed, my parents were the one yelling at me to get my damng motor transplant done. i wanted to wait and gather all the parts and do it all at once, but then wanted the motor in as soon as it could get in. well they did pay for it also.
