Default all the parts that make up a turbo.

Does anyone have any idea of a good list of parts and where they connect too for a turbo. I am thinking about getting one and have most of the lingo. I then realized talking to some today that I donít know ****.
I know all the basics, just when some people start talking about multiple fuel injectors and where to place certain type of hoses I get lost.
Any "pictures" of some of these parts would really help me put the thing to gather in my head.
Thanks!

if you have any questions feel free to ask or shoot me a pm. Almost everythign you need to make a decent turbo setup is somewhere on this board or the internet so search and read like crazy. I went from knowing nothign a year ago to making a completely custom setup.

Thanks I will drop by and take a look at the site. The reason I need pictures is it just helps me remember where it all goes and what it's for. I will be downloading some service manuals for MY00 BE, and at the same time I am going to take a look at the WRX setup.

Here are installation instructions for a JC Sports kit - you can see what parts are used from this. beware, I wrote this 5 mb 35 page manual, with 150 pics and 160 or so steps!

http://www.subaruplanet.com/images/t...rboinstall.pdf

(almost the same as a current PDM turbo kit, but the up and down pipes are different and the oil pan return is different).

Larry,
I just put a plug and link to your selling car info. Once again I am soooo sorry I could not pick it up, that would have saved me some cash, and given me a huge foot in the door on a turbo. I must say between you an JoeT, i have not meet anyone else with that much subie brain power!
Thanks again for your time,
good luck!

I have noticed that that dyno plots 157whp 170ft/lb on a 13g. What PSI is this? Seven on 9.5:1?

So if I could estimate, the 15g compressor should increase to about 170whp 180ft/lb?

How about the 18g? Under the same boost, will that make approx. 190whp 195ft/lb?
