Default Truck Driver lost ALL my keys

... so I finally got my STi today. I was supposed to get it yesterday ...... it was in town yesterday .... but the keys were somewhere between Boston and Dallas.

The truck driver lost my keys. He says that he left them on the truck bed. This morning he bought one new key and an alarm fob. He promised to get me a full set, but they did not have the actual STi blanks in stock.

Someone please tell me every key that comes with the STi .... I want to be sure that he pays for every damn one.... if any parts managers read this .. part nos or prices would be great too ... I'll probably just try to get a check for the full set.

This was not the only torture to my day. Read the preceding message about my throttle surge and detting.

I know that you should get a STi key as well as a black rubber key. I'm not sure if you get the silver valet key or not.

That truck driver's cousin Guido will be driving your car off into the sunset with the original set of keys.

I would insist that they re-key all of the locks or get you a new car.

don't even consider not rekeying with a different code. And, make sure the new code is NOT on the paperwork that gets sent to the trucking company for reimbursement.

Good Luck!

3 keys, 2 fobs, one metal tag with your key code.

Hey .. I'm calm ... the guy was cool .. it's an honest mistake.

As far as rekeying and all that jazz ... he's a Texan .. not a New Englander ... I trust him ... he was very proactive in trying to get everything taken care of ... he offered to replace the full set .. I didn't have to ask

You folk in NJ and Chicago need to realize that there are safe places in the U.S. ... and it is nice to be in a friendly place with friendly people after the unfriendly city of Boston

plus ... The alarm was recoded and the car is always garaged.

yes there are safe places in the world, i live in one, you couldnt find my home if i GAVE you directions let alone attempt to my car. MUAHAHAHAHA then if u did manage to get my car out from the area of my house, you would have the problem that the kids in gone in 60 seconds had when they couldnt find their way out of suburbia . Ohh then you would be SOOO screwed when the security gaurds who are all 60 years old or more start mashing after you in their golfcars (wearing their seatbelts of course). MUAHAHAHAAHA fear the unarmed golfcart civillian! MUAHAHA.

oh i admit it... i dont get to park in the garage and my car is black... so it gets dirty while i sleep :outs:: But the car is safe
