I just put these on. I can't tell about the performance, due to lots of other mods also installed at the same time. But the fittment and finish are perfect. With the ceramic coating they look really clean. For the price they are a great value.

ok, after a couple of days of spirited driving....love it!!! throatier sound and i can feel a harder hitting boost when it kicks. lagged a bit more by a few hundered RPMs but the kick is definitely stronger.

install is fairly easy. the uninstall of the stock headers was a pita. most of the bolts were seized and rusted and it took 4 hours to take the stock one off. but putting the borla in was 15 minutes.

Talking They're pretty nice

I just installed my Borla headers (ceramic coated) this past weekend and I must say the car sounds more "cammy"/lumpy at idle but there is definitely some power gained by installing them.

My trap speeds at the drag strip increased by 2 mph too.....

Can't complain but there is an additional 150 - 200 rpms of lag on the stock turbo....

With the addition of my headers my entire exhaust is now aftermarket.

Time for a banana.

Default Borla headers

I have had these on my car for a few mounths now and i love them. The fitment is awsome they look great and since they are not equal length they maintain the true sound of a boxer engine. I would say that they gave me quite a bit more power and just a better pedel feel in genneral. I would also say that there is no reason to pay extra money for any other system since these work great.

I have the un-coated borlas on my car. I have thremo-tec wraped them however.

On my dyno pulls for ecutek tuneing, we overlaped my curve with a curve from another ecutek tuned car with identical mods minus the header................turbo spooled exactly like stock when the pipes were warm. The only difference was a higher peak number on my car. Both had stock turbos. I was very pleased.

I use to have a WRX :(

Thumbs up

I have the first gen(bought them used) The took about 30min to install. They work really well but you will notice the exhaust pulses. If you like a quiet sewing machine type exhaust dont get them. They sound incredable with my set-up.Though my wife says its a little on the loud side

WOW guys.

we've been seeling these headers for quite some time now and we haven't gotten much feed back other then "its great" I'm glad people got the chance to pull some dyno and butt dyno numbers from this product.

we'll be installing a set on an STi in another week for the first time at our shop. hopefully I'll be able to pull some more numbers for them when we get this project wrapped up

Everybody seems to be satisfied with these so far. especially for the price

Brad

It says they are coated. Is that jet hot coated or something else? And if it is Jet Hot is the Jet Hot 2000?
