Default How to drive STi: Canadian driving courses?

I'm looking for a reputable and worthy driving course in southern Ontario. I want to learn how to drive this thing properly before money goes to any mods. Every time I push this car it actually frightens me and I don't feel overly confident most of the time. This is the only car that has made me feel this way.

Until you find someone with abilities perhaps you should gradually test its limits on some back roads. I know how you feel however... When I first got my `02 WRX (coming from a Toyota RAV4 as a previous ride) a surprise drift occurred on a bendy exit ramp due to a off-throttle move at too high of a speed. The action brought me too close to concrete. After that I spent a couple of days on some deserted roads to further test the car's limits. Good luck finding a school/driving course.

Drive to Calgary, AB (I know, I know... a couple of days drive) and take the rally school by Jeorge Descolas (Calgary Sports Car Club). During the in-car I had an instructor ride along and drive my car at different points... he drives a rally-prepped STi in competition!!! I learned a lot!

head over to some autoX events in GTA. check out SPDA-online.com, it's a subaru specific autocross team. they can teach you how to drive your STi.
