Unhappy Might have to sell the Teins.. anyone interested?

I bought a set of Tein coilovers from a board member here I guess about a month ago and have been running them on my wagon. They look fantastic and it handles great, but I just purchased a well used 240sx that is dying for a Silvia conversion and could use the money for that. I would like to get what I payed for them ($750) considering I haven't put many more miles on them from when I got them and also because they are rare wagon-specific Tein HE (or was it HA, can't see them anymore since they are on the car) that cost about 1700 new. They are in great working condition. Let me know if anyone is interested, cause I'll pull them off the car if someone wants them. Thanks guys

Default yes sir

they are indeed the HAs I purchased from Froggert. The coilovers are in great shape and they work great as well, I am unfortunately faced with a situation where I could use the money more than the enjoyment from the coilovers. Any other questions feel free to ask.

And for anyone interested, they are on the car still but I can get them off given a couple days notice and could either ship them (buyer pays shipping) or meet someone within a reasonable distance from the Philadelphia area.

Have there been posts in the past with pictures? I'd be curious to see them. Since they came off a sedan, I guess that means they will work with a sedan, huh? I don't know much about coilovers, other than I would like some. Just have never been willing to spend the money on them. Maybe this is an opportunity.

Thanks-
Rich

hey richeich,
The post that the pictures were originally in were edited I believe, but I can try to find some. They definitely do work on the sedan as the previous owner (Froggert) had them on his Legacy sedan. They are amazing in terms of what they do to the handling of the car and make it look much better as well. I'll post links to pictures if I find any today. Thanks for the interest, Dave Scull

Hmmm... I guess I better do some research and learn more about these. I'm going to be in Lancaster, PA soon. I'd have to doublecheck the calender for the exact dates. Could save the hassle of shipping.

they're tein ha's designed for the bg legacy. they'll bolt right up to the sedan with no alignment problems. 16 way damping adjustable, pillow ball mounts front and rear with adjustable camber up front.

just wanted to let anyone interested know that I did pull the coilovers off the car, so in case anyone is interested they can be shipped or picked up at any point now that they are out of the car. Someone must want these!

I want them but the problem is I live in Ontario and kinda afraid to buy them because if something is wrong with them or something goes wrong then it would be kinda hard to get a hold of you. Also, it would be better if I saw them.

Too bad......

how much do you think it would be in canadian currency + shipping?

just think of it this way. new lowering springs and struts will cost $600+ so why not just get something better with adjustable camber plates and damping for a few bucks more?

Can you adjust the ride height as well? I was assuming you could, but figured I'd be better off to ask directly.

you can definitely adjust the ride height. The coilover bodies are threaded and can either lower the car up to 3" (my guesstimate). You could even raise the car if you wanted...hehe. Hope that answers your question, any more feel free to ask.

just to let everyone know, I put the coilovers up on ebay last night. If someone wants to purchase them still, I will give preference to people on the board obviously and would end the auction. As I mentioned, if you want them let me know soon (i.e. within 7 days) and they can be yours, if not they are going to the highest bidder on ebay (as long as it's over reserve )

just so you all know. The Teins didn't sell (or didn't meet the reserve price to be exact) so they are still available to whoever would want them. As before, any questions feel free to get in touch with me.
