Default Newbie need clutch install help please

I have a 93 Legacy BF and I am trying to replace the clutch. I have every bolt off that I can find and I cant get the tranny and the engine to separate on the bottom I have tried using a ratchet strap to pull them apart but it does not work .I have read http://wac.addr.com/auto/obs/clutch/clutch.html and it is not coming apart so if any one that knows what my problem could be please help me.
thanks Eli

Cool

I know it sounds stupid, but look for bolts that you may've missed. Also, there are locating studs that'll kind of hold the engine and tranny together until you get things at the correct angle to slide the two apart. If you're just dropping the tranny, use a jack under the engine to take the weight off the studs. If you're pulling the motor, try moving it around/side-to-side to slowly get it apart. And if you don't have it already, pick up the Haynes Manual.

Good luck!
