Default any STi's vandalized?

i was just reading on the evolutionm.net forum and read a couple posts of their evo's getting vandalized so badly. i was wondering if there have been any reports of sti's being messed with. i know there was one about the STI emblem being ripped off, but thats about it. hopefully not too many sti's have been messed with

i guess current and future owners could use this as a good reference not to park in certain areas, etc.

I'm from St. Paul, MN... I parked my car on the West Side while visiting a friend. When I got back, I notice 3 gash about 1 inch each right by my Impreza emblem. No STi badge stolen, nothing was taken or dent up... just the three gashes. I've tried to repair it with Meguire Scratch X but no avail. You can see the white primer as you get close up but from a far, you can bearly tell it's there.

Any idea on how to repair this... I was told by a few forum buddy to get a the trunk repainted... myself, I plan on getting touch up paint and a full body clear coating...

I hate haters.

'Tis true.

What's weird is that I know of 4 WRXs that were stolen the same weekend in the Montreal area in a 10 km radius!

Just yesteday I was at the grocery store in my neighborhood and some guy starts talking to me about the STi (he saw me pull up) and mentioned that his WRX was stolen 2 weeks ago! One of the WRXs was stolen in front of my office on the street!

Someone must have had a list for these cars in the Montreal area, 4 in one weekend.

2/4 had boomerang (vehicle tracking) and are still MIA.

Angry

Today, sitting in traffic. A bike rode along side my car and I believe he kicked it but it left two scratches and a couple small dents. Very crappy to have my car messed with. I could not get out of traffic to catch him.

make that 4 cheers for pager alarms . i went with the clifford matrix rs 3, which is basically the same thing. how sensitive did you make your warning sensors? i didn't want to be running out every 5 seconds after getting a warning page on my pager, but then again i don't think the sensitivity of the warning sensor is even close to detecting someone keying, denting or ripping the badge off i guess its a trade off..

dxrat: i would have ran out of my car and stopped traffic to go after him. im sure people would realize i did it for beating his @$$ and stop honking and start watching . im seriously surprised he had the courage to mess with your car right in front of your face.

Seems to me if the STi wing were extended a foot on each side, and and sharpened to a blade-like edge, you'd have the perfect vehicle for dealing with abusive cyclists.

P.S. This is a joke. Before anyone flames me for picking on cyclists, I should mention I'm a cyclist myself. That's why I have zero respect for other cyclists who not only can't follow the rules of the road, but go out of their way to be obnoxious to motorists. They just make it harder for the rest of us who are trying to share the road with motorists.
