Yeah you can get a vac./boost reading from there. Thats where I have my boost gauge/BOV tapped to.

Isn't that the vacuum line that goes to the idle control thingy? I broke mine when I was installing my Turbo and have used that line to just plug into the BOV ever since.

It ends up going to some vacum control box belted to the underside of the intake manifold. No idea what it does. Will my Link require it's existence?

that is the vacum line needed for the Air Assist Fuel Injector Solenoid under the intake manifold(it has a purple connector with two vacuum connectors there...it tells when to open to help atomize the fuel better IIRC...
