Default SoCal: Need '98-'01 Impreza RS for test fit@Tanabe, free parts

We're looking for a stock IS300 for a test fitting of our new coil swaybar.

Criteria:
'98 - '01 Impreza RS
suspension- must be stock

All vehicles will needed for a maximum of one (1) day with a possibility of additional days/hours of testing for further fitment and retesting. Please be aware of this condition and your own transportation needs from Tanabe’s RD headquarters in Torrance.
Days of testing are July 7th-17th.

As long as there are no major problems with the fitment of the coilovers, you will get to keep the part as compensation.

Please give me a call if you are interested, meet the criteria and are in the Southern California/Los Angeles area.

I beat you Jason. I live around the corner from them...

The parts didn't fit correctly. So since they didn't fit on my car with the stromung and borla headers, they wouldn't fit on your car either.

How would headers and exhaust affect the way coilovers fit in the car? Help me to understand.

You know, L's use the same suspension as the 98-01 "GC8" (and by GC8, I really mean GM6) 2.5RS.

weight, lack of swaybars, and different target market make them want an actual RS instead of an L I bet so they can get a feel for what the car does

It wasn't coilovers it was "coil swaybar"

It seems like they goofed when they made it and they were way off. Even with stock parts it wouldn't fit on.

Please remember, these were prototypes that were being fitted, not the final product... hence the series of test fitments

As far as IS300, we had to look for many cars and used quite a few different forums-- good old cut and paste

As far as the delay in products for certain cars-- that was a result of our old advertiser and distributor (M***** Ind.). They were not getting us cars to test on time, did not provide advertising, and offered little in way of marketing research, which is why there are many aftermarket companies splitting from them.

Now that we are independent of them, we are conducting our own test fitments, and will be able to produce many new products for your cars.

We just finished testing (pre-production) a whole line of products for the '04 WRX STi.
