So... I'm picking up my Silver STI tomorrow around 2:30. Do I have a reason to be as excited as the first time i got laid? Be honest.

I am picking mine up tomorrow at 11. I don't think I have been this excited in a long time or atleast since the last Jenna movie. Congrats on your car mine is Silver/Silver also.

Buy some Depends just in case! The break-in period is not only for all of the inner workings of the car. The trunk has magnetic properties that attract all kinds of law enforcement. Let all the locals see you driving responsibly while under the 1,000 mi. mark.
Enjoy the torque! It is easy to drive smooth & slow, and there is no need for launch lessons!
Make sure the DCCD is in auto mode to avoid scary sounds of the lock position.

Buy a trunk monkey!

The 4000rpm rev limit comes in just as you're starting to feel the wealth of torque... and then you have to shift.

If you shift at 4000, every gear is like being excited to the point of umm.... emission... and then brought back down for the next gear. So, depending on how it went the first time that you got laid, it might not be far from the truth.

Well guys... my co-signer cheeched, flaked, backed out, whatever you wanna call it. So, looks like I have to wait for a few weeks for my mother to get into town (even though I am 19 years old, I still feel like I'm a little freakin' baby... oh well). So now I get to sit on it for a few and really decide which color I want, either white on gold, or silver on silver. Oh well, now im still stuck with my broke @ss WRX w/ a busted tranny that I cant afford to fix.

you guys have fun in your STI's, because i wont (right now atleast),

filbert... I can afford the monthly payments on the STI but I can't afford to dish out $5,200 all at once to get a new tranny, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, and all of the bearings.

Actually Kenzo, just got laid about 2 hours ago, and no, i didnt need a co-signer.

I'll be picking up my Silver/silver STi on Saturday and have an 8hr / 500 mile / 3 state return trip ahead of me with no radio, no navigator, and only God as my co-pilot.
