Default grille teaser

I've got the fiberglass and sanding done on my JDM grille. It's been a real pain adapt because a half inch has had to be added and it needed a little re-shaping.

But, all the shaping and sanding is done, and It's pretty much ready to paint.

here's a pic. I can't wait to show it to y'all when its totally done.

before (with gap)

after (no gap). It looks sloppy, but really it's very smooth and fits perfect.

next up, I'm taking it to a body shop to get it painted.

thanks d ds

I got the grille from the Yahoo Auctions in Japan, a friend in Japan bid on it and shipped it to me. I think it was around $200+

looking forward to getting it painted!

there weren't 10 people that wanted one, so it's a mute point, isn't it?

Steve it looks good! Now is that your second version of that grille? It seems like you said your first one absconded.

Yes, the first one was stolen, but the good thing is that I'm now a fiberglass and bondo vetran, so this one actually fits a bit better. I didn't get to get it painted this weekend like I wanted to. But hopefully I will soon.
