Post SVX Stereo

I'm going to be taking the stereo out of my 1988 RX when I sell it I need to know what size speakers the SVX has front and rear that way I know what I can use and what I can't

Fronts are 6.5" and rears are 6x9's. You can get 5.25" in the front but it requires a mounting plate. By default, it came with 5.25's.

6.5's will fit in the front but the main concern is depth. If the drivers are too deep, they will hit the window when you roll it down. 8's will fit too, with only very slight modifications. If you want more mid-bass up front, trying fitting the 8's in the doors. Greg

Thanks for the info I will probably use my 5.25" MB quart mid tweet's in the front of the SVX and I had the stock rear speakers in my 88 RX so no money lost there. Look's like I will be able to use all of my stereo equipment. although I'll probably trade my dad My 2 Soundstream 10's W/ little wonder amp for my dads 2 Kenwood DB+ 12" w the X-401M amp. he hates how big it is
