Default Wheels question

STi default speedo is like 4-5 mph slow if u get to around 71 mph speedo will show around 75..
Now, if we put 235/45/R18 on STi, which that correct the speedo or make it worse?
bigger wheel, bigger overall radius.

well, if you get your total wheel and tire diameter to be slightly larger, then you would be going faster than it says... so... if you are actually goin slower than the speedo says, but you change your wheels so you're running faster than the speedo, then yes, you could potentially cancel it out... i saw a wheel/tire diameter calculator somewhere but I don't remember where. You could probably use that to determine a wheel/tire combo that would do it.

Here's a link to the Miata.net tire size calculator.
