Since you asked, looked for a battle of sorts to take place 4-27-01 at Atco Raceway. Some 3-4 SVX's will square off against each other as well as a host of 2.5RS's and a coupld of WRX's. I may bring my wagon out for a little fun in the sun.

What's bothering me really bad is that I want an SVX so bad, it hurts. I can't wait to get my hands on one and start modding away. Oh...the ideas. CRZ....do you mind sharing with me some of the mods you have done to your SVX through PM or email? Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up Kevin, but both Venon and I are mostly in the Southwestern United States and probably won't be able to make it. I'll be chilling in the east for a while, but I won't be going THAT far east

Mods made to my SVX (and Vernon's SVX that rat copycat bastard! )

-8x10" stacked plate transmission cooler
-Dakota Digital transmission temp gauge
-Resonatorectomy
-K&N Panel Filter
-Custom Exhaust
-Napolex 330 parabolic (Vern! has the hookup on these, they are as addictive as AWD)
-Bradi rotors. Mine are drilled, Vern! has drilled and slotted. Or was it the other way around? heehee, I crack myself up.
-Headers are in the works. I dunno if I am going to get them or not seeing as I don't get to drive the SVX as much as I used to, but Vernon might be able to fill you in on the details.

Question

What is a "Napolex 330 parabolic"?

Sorry, actually it is a 360mm, not a 330mm.

Parabolic rear view mirror. Not to be confused with the poser flat rear view mirrors made by the same company.

With the 360mm parabolic rear view mirror you can see out the sides of your car while looking forwards. Gives you a bit of motion sickness at first, but after you get used to it you won't want to go back.

Blind spots bad, 360mm parabolic rear view mirror good!

Do you have pictures of how/where you mounted your transmission gauge. I'm putting a cooler on my '95 Legacy LSi and need some ideas.

Cheers,

Roger

No pics, we mounted the gauges in the stereo console underneath the stock head unit.
You'll probably have to find a different location, I don't recall what the dash of a Legacy looks like.
