Unhappy News about det probs?

I heard recent news that the 04 stis are being made to accept 92 grade octane fuel. Will this fix the det problems? Just curious.

Err, they were already made to take any premium (>= 91 AKI) fuel. It just turned out they didn't handle it flawlessly.
