Wink So I am thinking about moveing to tampa..

Well I must ask everyone that lives in the tampa area.. Is there anything to do? I am a 22 year old male and I currently live across the state at the moment...

I hit a point in my life to where I want to start over.. I just got over a 5 year relationship and I think it's time to move on.. KNow I won't be moveing right away but I just want to get a feel for thing's when I decide to up and leave..

So I was wondering if there where any subie people in the area and what kind of jobs there might be.. I am not sure where about's in tampa but I just thought it looks like a nice place to start over... And a good place to meet new people who has the same interestes as I do...

From Sebastian huh? I miss surfing, none of it here on the west coast. I think Tampa is real similar to the rest of Central Florida, tourist driven (to an extent) with little to do outside of the beach. Night life is a different story though, lots to do, depending on your tastes. I don't mind Tampa for school, but I don't think I would like to make it an extended stay.

If you like to party the night life is pretty good; Ybor, Channelside. The I.T. market is decent, not as bad as the rest of the country. The Subaru crowd is pretty big...plus Mastro is close!

It's just as damn hot here as it is on the east coast. That's about it. If I was going to move...it'd be about 650 miles + or - north

If you like the beach life, check out Pinellas county (St. Pete/Clearwater). It's a much more laid-back atmosphere than most East coast beaches.

Yea I would say I m a party animal at this time in my life. When I was living with my X we did not go out much or do any partying really so I am just getting started.. But I would really like to know more subie people and try out new thing's.. I love the night life but over here there is no night life...

I do love the to tho.. It's like 20 minutes away.. I love skimboarding and of course the chick's.. But besides all of that I just need to start over and see what's out there.. I would only plan on staying for a year or two but we all know how that goes.. And you never know I might meet someone.. But I am just trying to see what it's like for other people and get there input on thing's..
