Question STi Air Cleaner Element????

STI Air Cleaner? Is it worth 80 bucks????

I went to my Subaru dealer today to pick up an internal air filtration element and noticed on the counter a STi Air filter. I need a new air filter for my WRX but I wasn't ready to spend 80 dollars on part# ST165464S000 unless there is some value to it. What is the good word. Yeah or Nay?

I use that filter on my STi TypeRA, it's used on the Spec C's amongst others and flows very well without MAF contamination issues.

It still needs replacing at normal intervals but flows a lot more air than a stock paper WRX filter, capable of well over 300BHP.
