Default Utec on top of a ECUtek

Right now I have Ultimate Racing's Stage 4, which is a hell of a kit, but I want to build a new motor. When I do this I am going to be using bigger cams and such, I would imagine with much more air going into the motor it would need to be tweaked.

Well, instead of getting it reflashed, is it a viable option to run the Utec on top of this and get all of the tunability of the Utec while keeping the programing of the ECUtek and utilzing the power of both?

After I would put the Utec in I would take it to TurboXS to get dyno tuned and all of that happy stuff.

Thanks!

Kirk

It's doable as I had asked Phil that question a few months ago. You won't be able to use any of the base maps that are available and you'll have to either tune it yourself or get it custom tuned.

Yes, a few people are had/are running that setup.

Talk to AZScoobie or RiftsWRX.

Don't see why not. You'd just have to custom tune it so that it would work properly with the maps you have on your remapped ECU.
