Can you guys with turbos tell me what turbo is used for stage 1&2? Did Robert use a t3, mitsubishi or IHI turbos in his kit?
Thanks Ray

stage I - T3
Stage II - T4. The T3 was nice, but the car really needs the T4. |

Yes Kastle is correct. The T3 was very good for around town driving instant boost but once the 3.3 got to high RPM's it would become a serious restriction. Fall of boost. and the car had no top end power and theThe T4 is not as noticalbe around town but when you run it out The car pulls smoothly up to redline. Except in Kastles case
BTW: the stage1 SVX turbo kit has been discontinued do to the problems it posed. The only stage 1 Kit is on my car and has been converted to stage 2 spec. [This message has been edited by KEVINL (edited May 09, 2001).] |
