Default What Mods are Warraty friendly on STI??

Lets all start a list if we could. I don't plan on modding mine yet until I pay it off and by that time there should be a lot of stories by then.

I talked to a friend about possibly getting tints for my car but he said something about that voiding the warranty on the windows and window motors. Is that true or was he bs'in me

Any mod is fair game...as long as it does not relate your problem.

Ex. Engine tunned to 600HP@30psi of boost and your power windows fail, your are covered. If you put a 3 holes through your engine block, you are not covered.

only if they can prove that the tint DIRECTLY led to the failure of the window system.

for example, a tint that would bind when rolling up or down. would cause motor and/or wiring to heat up, etc...
