i havent seen anybody do the 04-05 with air splitters do it this clean... anybody know how he did this?

Why do you keep asking the same question??

He just stuck/attached the trim to the underside of the bumper and splitters. It's not rocket science

I was actually looking at the whole thread and happen to be on the page with his car at the same time as I was looking at ebay lips!

Here's how I did my 05 with splitters. It's perfect for me and I think it looks decent.

Actually thinking about it, I'm not sure it qualifies as a lip. Lol

so i was kind of bored today and checked out some diy's here since i cant put on those replica v limited lips because i don't have sti splitters. i found that the wrx is in need of a lip of sorts. hence, me doing this diy. pretty simple enough and adds something new to the car.

this is what i got:
a garage door seal EPDM quality rubber
3m double sided tape
and i had a couple of screws + washers + nuts already so i didnt need to get those

taped it on for visual aid

i drilled some new holes and used some of the existing ones already there. Inbetween the screws i had a strip of double sided tape to block offs any air passages.

finished product. i just added a little high gloss shine from an armor all spray

overall, it's a neat mod for just ~$20

Original lip that started this thread... some wear marks but still holding on. No adjustments/repairs so far.

No double sided tape. Too bad the DIY pictures are long gone. It's basically washers like xiiicarlo's pictures a few posts up.
