Question Boost Gauge Problem

I just installed my Autometer boost gauge today and I am only seeing 12psi max under WOT. After I turned the car off I noticed that the gauge dropped to 2 inch-Hg (Vacuum), so it is reading correctly only the faceplate needs to be rotated a little (I think). Is there anyway to calibrate the gauge or should I just return it?
