Some will work, some will not. More detail is needed if you want a good answer.

Basically you're dealing with an Impreza sedan with a square body - all the running gear (except suspension) should be the same. The only major differences will be between model years, ie, '99 v. 2k v. '01, and all that. Think of it as an 01 RS sedan. You could do a suspension swap, but keep in mind the Forester is much heavier.

You may have gotten a better response in the Forester Forum since it's Forester specific.

the subaru impreza sti is 3263 pounds while the forester xt is 3210 pounds!! so that would be only 53 pounds heavier than the sti ! the wheel base are the same( extract .6 from the sti) and for the length the forester is 1.4 inch's more than the sti....so they are the same in almost in every thing exept for ground clearance and the hight!

An RS (GC8) Sedan is only ~2900 lbs., IIRC.
