Default FS: "knock-off" kartboy short shifter and "real" kartboy shifter bushings

ok...i hope the subject heading was not too confusing...
basically...i have a short shift lever that is basically what the real kartboy shifter is like, and authentic kartboy shifter bushings...
both are used

i dont know if i am correct or not...but i remember that kartboy use to ask you to send them your stock shifter in exchange for one of their short shifters and charge you cheaper for ur short shifter?? and what they did was custom change the stock ones and resold them as their own short shifters?? am i waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off?? or am i correct...

anyways...this short shifter looks pretty much exactly like a kartboy shifter (but is silver and not black) and is a stock shifter that has been modified by a proffessional machine shop to make it a short shifter...

i checked out kartboy.com and they have the shifter/bushing combo for $120US...(do they still only ship to US??)

anyways...i was looking for around $80 bux for my shifter/bushings combo...i have not taken the stuff out yet...but when i do..i can take pictures...

and if you are intersted...i also have this sparco shift knob
for an extra $25 ($105 total) bux as well...I have the shiny chromy one...but it has regular wear and tear/small scuffs etc...from my ring and stuff...so its as shiny as it use to be...keke..

let me know if there is any interest...
btw...this is from a MY00 RS...

Actually, it IS a real Kartboy Shifter. The first generation Kartboy short shifters were modified OEM shifters, hence the "core trade" policy.

Tora - don't you already have a SS in your Wagon de-lux?

LaterZ!

Yes, but I like to stock up on parts.
BTW, my dibs on the shifter was meant to include the bushings.

i'd prefer to sell them as a set
no one is interested in the shift knob?
i'll actually throw that in for only 20 bux..its a real sparco one..its comfy too..and looks good

I will take the whole thing as a set...(can't see the knob yet but I'm pretty sure I'll take that too as long as it doesn't have any funky goo on it...

It should work on almost any Subaru application.

GC/GD's should be different as Rev-Lab sells 2 different types of short shifters as well.

Default Reply from KartBoy

Here is the reply from KartBoy after they got back to me........

Hello
the shifters are indeed different. The shifter bushings are the same tho.
I'd say throw that thing on Ebay or one of the subaru forums. They still
get some good money used
thanks
Tom

Syms,

I've lost count, what is back up for grabs? The shifter, the bushings, the shift knob, all three?

Cheers.
