Talking LED turn signal Morette Mirror covers added...

w/photos and all

we were selling these at work and needed a "model" to put em on.. they wont fit the 04's... and i couldn't legally put em on my WRX rally car... so... my "Boo" got a new toy

pretty damn flush these things are and they're bright

guess it's a fairly new product from Morette.. not seem em around yet.. but.. i do know of a guy local to me, w/a black RS that just bought a set

install was fairly simple....
i documented it on: www.subiegal.com
(follow links from photo/updates table)

would take about 1/2 hour each side if you were on the ball... and not stopping every 5 secs for pizza and beer like i was

hehehee enjoy

They look great J! I was just reading your instructs when I stumbled into your site from allsubaru.com while surfing..

They have that OEM look to them with the flush mounting. I'd like to see some shots of them at night too.

Just ordered mine today! Can't wait to have them put on my rex. Thanks again for the pics and wiring instruction Subie Gal! And yeah I am so happy to see that the reflectors of the LED signal are not orange. Late.

Wow- those look pretty good. I like how the signal is kind of "Frenched" into the housing. Who makes these?

I like the fact that this is a safety enhancement. It makes our intention to turn much more "visible"... haha, pardon the pun.

Jamie,
Are these just for the RS or do they make them for the 02 WRX? Also, any chance of having you paint them?

Thanks,
Scott

Edit: Way too early for me. Must have coffee to read post better/again.

Why? Clear white or smoke ones looks way cool.

morette headlights have the orange reflector, and the stock one are orange.

so to be uniform i would like to try orange. other wise i will have to buy white parking lamps, and see if there is a replacement for the morette turn signal

damn I saw something like this on ebay a while back but they were going for $275 and pre painted wr blue. this is way better...

now if only there were a set of projector headlights that looked like the STis but half the price....

BTW I've been thinking about replacing the horn on my 02 WRX (tired of the wimpy love bug horn) where'd you get your hellas and about how much$?

Am i the only one who doesn't like them? I mean you have my support for being diferent and all but I think they look rather ugly. Even on Mercs they look bad. You don't want to knock one of those mirriors when driving out / in the garage.

I was referring to the price of them assuming they cost a little more than OEM because of the lights cracking and things but I don't know how much they were.

how much were they... to buy because I know u got em free.

yeah nevermind
