Post Blitz DSBC Setting?

I just got a DSBC and wanted to know what settings for Ratio and Gain everyone is using on their WRXs.
I know that mods, etc. have an effect on the settings, but I just want a base from which to tune from. I am looking to run around 1.0 to 1.05 bar on the highest setting and .85 to .90 bar at the lowest. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You will see that I have this question as well, in the thread "How Much is Too Much" below - I have been running with a ratio of 50, gain of 25 and no scramble settings. It is too much I think, so I am still trying to dial it in. There are numerous other people on here running these units as well but I am having trouble getting them to respond to these questions. One of the issues is that some of them already have the larger turbos so their boost settings are probably a moot point as their ratios will need to be lower than ours to produce the same psi at the manifold.

I would start at a ratio of 45 with a gain of 10 and move up from there. Then you can set your max boost threshold at 1.10kg/cm2 which is about 15.7 psi and see how you like the car. I personally am going to disconnect my dsbc today and put the stock boost controller back on so I can watch the behavior of the stock electronics before I go any further with programming myself, just to be safe.

Please post back and report on how you do.

Thanks

JaMa

I have the SBC-ID which is basically the same thing. I've found that my ideal settings are at ratio 55 and gain 8- anything over 8 on the gain makes too much of a spike for me but I might experiment a little. The more gain you have- the less ratio you should have and vise versa. This setting shouldn't allow the boost to ever exceed 13.9 psi- factory setting.
