Yeah, that's about right.

[in best British accent] Wot's this about then?

Is the "test track" a performance-oriented autocross type situation, or a chance to "feel how smooth and quiet riding this car is" at a max 15mph?

Test Tracks

The Test Tracks are where the rubber meets the road for both automotive enthusiasts and casual car-buyers alike. On eight different courses, which highlight segment features, you will have the opportunity to drive as many vehicles as you like. Four different vehicle segments will be represented on the test tracks - near-luxury sedans, sedans, SUVs, and minivans. This preview and compare opportunity was once exclusive to only a privileged few industry insiders. Now Edmunds.com opens up this special experience to you. Professional drivers will show the way as you put cars, minivans and SUVs through their paces. No more hopping from dealership to dealership. All the information and test driving are ready and waiting for you.

Thumbs down

WTF is w/ the $15 entrance fee???
The Chevy, BMW and Jeep driving events I've attended were all free. And no sports cars?!? What a jip!

Hello,

Those events were designed to sell those cars. This event is not. This is more like a SEMA or something like that. It's a broad spectrum of vehicles. Think of it as a normal car show except you get to drive the cars, too.

I believe you need to reserve a time slot for a particular class of vehicle ahead of time. Making the reservation itself doesn't cost anything.
