Question intake manifold q

how well are the exit ports on the intake manifold matched to the head? I was just if there's anything to be gained by port matching here.

Remove the manifold and look at both sides of the gasket. Any differences will be noticable.

I take it that means you've done a little port matching there, Jay?

When I had my intake manifold extudehoned I had them flow bench chart it before and after. Before the extude hone the flow rating was something like 230 cfm's. Afterwords it was abour 290 cfm's.

But if you gasket match the intake manifold to the gasket, and don't do the same to the cylinder heads, your going to have a bottle neck problem.
