Question WRX/2.5RS exhaust length

Does anyone know for sure if the WRX MY02 exhaust and the 2.5RS MY02 are the same? I mean are they an exact fit or at least close to each other?

I want to buy a HKS exhaust but all the applications for a full cat back say WRX.

A search would show that the WRX exhuast and the RS exhausts are different. For a WRX muffler to fit on an RS they need to rotate the flange, and move a hanger.

But everything else is the same right? If that is the case then i can make the exhaust fit if need be.

Well since the WRX is a turbo, most of the exhausts for them will have a much larger pipe diameter, usually 3 inches, becuase big power is gained by eliminating backpressure from the turbo. While with a N/A application the optimal pipe diameter would be about 2.25-2.5. With a 3 in pipe you lose the backpressure which takes away your low end, although you will see big gains in the top end. Currently I am running an exhaust that I have only seen on turbo applications, 2 WRX's and a RS-T, so to answer your question I do believe that they are the same size.
