I still have yet to recieve my first FHM from the last free subscription, but it hasn't been 8 to 12 weeks yet, so I'm not complaining.

Yeah, it usually takes a while. I'm still getting free Maxim, so the g/f won't be keen on another "gentlemans" mag.
