Post attn: Glenn, boost gauge from spy shots??

I recall that there was a boost gauge on the cars in your spy shots from some time ago. It was located in front of the redline area of the tach. Do you know where I can get one of those?

Thanks!

Glenn,

I am also very interested in this item. I couldn't tell from the pictures though if this was a separate gauge with it's own housing or it was a replacement instrument panel bezel with a gauge mount molded in. Please let us know.

Thanks,

Punk

It is the STi single boost gauge. I think Subaru will be offering it here later this year. If you are desperate you could try buying one from Japan.

(people are already buying the body kit from the UK, Subaru is taking too long!)

Is this the only option? IMHO the boost gauge in the main cluster looks just as cheesy as the dash mounted one. Isnt there somewhere else to put it? Is it true what I heard about the new STi in Japan having one in the center of the instrument cluster on the top?

Don't know how it attaches --- yes the best looking set if the $1200 STi gauge pack, pics have been posted before and there was a GB on the Defi housing used by STi.

I just got an AutoMeter boost gauge (the small one) and it's mounting black cup and plan to install it in the glove compatment next to the HKZ Turbo Timer and HKS EVC. Once boost is set, there is no need to keep looking at it, eitherway, when done racing, just close and lock the glove compartment and thats it!

Also helps in the sleeper factor, no one can see your gauges so they think your'e stock

Good luck guys!

My parts dealer had an official STI price sheet that someone snuck in. I remember the single boost gauge(in front of the instrument cluster) being around $300 some odd dollars.

If anyone is interested, I can supply these STi boost guages from my STi supplier.....price is $255 plus shipping as I recall (if youre interested, email me, or send me a pm, and I can double check tomorrow). Delivery time is roughly a couple weeks from when the order is placed (comes from overseas)
