Default Any Reported 1320 improvements using launch control??

I know summer isnt the best for PBs but are any of the guys in cooler states getting better 1320s with the launch control?? I would try but 100+ Texas temps are insane cant even speculate how hot track temps are

The launch control pretty much makes it trivial to launch somewhat decently. I mainly use it for autox but the one time I used it drag racing I had maybe 3-4 runs and never had a 60' more than 1.82 and I think the best was a 1.79.

launch control plus RE-92's ensured nothing better than 2.0 60' when I tried it... stupid spinning tires kept me from moving..

Just like tuning for fuel etc, you should also tune your launch control settings, ie rpm and how long you hold it to the floor.

Good clutch work is still up to the driver and the right air pressure is critical. I think it will help many but not everyone may benefit. For one of our customers who could never break 2.0 60ft, he gets regular high 1.7s to low 1.8s which has consistently put him into the 12s (STG4). Everyone will benefit from not having to lift between shifts.

Have fun.

yeah I used the flat shifting at the track when on 92's and launched w/ out the control just to lower the power to the tires... my problem was I had to set the launch control so low to use it from a stop to avoid spinning the tires that I would tend to bog a little... I look forward to trying it again on good rubber.

60 times were about the same, but I make less launching mistakes now. flat shifting got about the same times too. (1/4 mile) don't use it in autox
