Post Apex-i AVC-R...Help!

Forgive me if the answer to my question is on this board somewhere..but the search function is disabled at the moment.

Does anyone have documented settings for the Apex-i AVC-R documented for their WRX? I'm just nervous since this thing seems to have a million bells and whistles! I'm curious as the suggested boost settings for each gear... If so, maybe someone could post the install up on the Mods section for everyone! Thanx in advance..

set it to 1 bar. Also set the duty cycle to approx 54%, then if your boost spikes over that, lower the duty cycle by 1% and keep checkin.
All the other stuff can be dealt with at another time. Also, before u start playing around with it, get an egt gauge...other wise u could do damage.
Before u do ne type of tuning get an egt.
Keith
if u have ne other questions pm me I can try to help u the best i can.

i paid $440 shipped from this place in FL. I got in on a GB.
Btw, I have both the AVC-r and the S-AFC
I like both of them
Keith

Edit: you know the avc-r and the afc are 2 different things right?
Before u get either one of them get an EGT gauge and probe. thats more important

Thanks for your input Keith...btw, what EGT are you using? I like the autometers..but unfortunately the pillar pods arn't available yet..

Stiwrx.. if you keep looking on Ebay you can find an AVC-R as low as $400 shipped..thats how i picked one up. Infact there were 4-5 auctions going on at the time

Keith is using an Autometer 2 1/16" C/F EGT gauge with an Autometer competition probe. However, you can save a lot of money by getting a Westach Type K thermocouple for $40ish, vs about $100 for the Autometer unit.

thats what I have. I'm waiting for the a pillar mount,so right now I have one of those little cup things (12 bux) and have the gauge mounted right next to the a pillar.
It might not look great, but it works
