Default MBC@16.5psi vs. UNICHIP plus MBC@16.5psi

If anyone had a unichip which you have removed later on, did you guys notice any difference in terms of power and drivability? I've noticed that car equipped with unichip does not necessarily get better 1/4 time.

Any idea?

I have dyno results before and after from a MBC to a unichip (your unichip), the gain was minimal in terms of peak horsepower, 213hp->223hp, however at some points there was a 15hp difference between the two, so there could have been a .1 difference at the track theoretically.

I used to trap at 99-100mph with a MBC in my car and run 13.5s consistent, never went to the track with the UNICHIP, but now with the UTEC I have trapped as high as 102mph and run 13.3s consistent just havn't had it dyno'd yet..

IMO I say, sell the UNICHIP and get a UTEC it's well worth the price if you want to maximize your performance with any given setup..
