Default WRX harness question

i am doing a 00 EJ25 into a 94 ej18 and i dont have a wiring harness for the EJ25 engine. I have the ecu, tranny, headers, motor, (everything that comes with motor) and the stock gauge pod out of the ej25. Will a WRX harness work or do i have to find a ej25 harness? I am haveing a shop do the swap for me, but would they be able to get the WRX harness to work?

also i do not have the exhaust system from the EJ25. I need everything from the headers back. can anyone tell me what i need for the exhaust, from the headers back?

thanks

A WRX wiring harness will not work. Your best bet is to source the harness that would have come with the engine. I know Subaru sells the wiring harnesses, but they are absurdly priced.

If you have the headers, then you will need the catpipe, the midpipe, and the muffler. You can source all these aftermarket or try to source them from the junkyards. Depending upon state laws, you may not be able to acquire emissions equipment such as catalytic converters. You might be able to utilize your stock exhaust system from the headers back. I'm not sure of the diameter, but it will probably work.
