Angry I got kissed by a car in the parking garage! -Help-

Anybody know how much it will cost to get a 3x7" scratch repainted? Or do I have to have the whole bumber repainted? Its not deep at al, it just pulled the paint back. Anybody know of any good places to get this done in the east bay? Anybody that would know approximate dollar amount, let me know! Thanx.

Couldn't tell you the amount, but have you looked into using touch up paint. It might be too big. Or try that G-27 stuff. They sell it at Walmart for $15.00. Good luck

Yeah, that's about right.

I've been told that there's a limit to how good a repair can be unless the entire piece is repainted. That can get quite expensive, but you may be able to save a few bucks by doing the wrenching yourself and bringing a loose bumper in for painting.

Disadvantage is that the color match might not be perfect due to no blending, but it's generally OK with parts that have seams. My fender is a little brighter but that makes it look like a 22B!

Angry

DOH! I just pulled a boner maneuver and need my rear bumper filled and painted. I'm going to a place that a friend recommended in Vallejo. After I have it done, I'll tell you how much it is.

does anyone know how much bumper skins go for for a '00? I'm finding that it's impossible to keep 'm from getting banged and nicked when driving and parking in the city, so I'm thinking it might be cheaper to just get new skins once a year to keep 'm looking halfway decent...

Deepbeep: trust me, you can't afford it. (or maybe you can, heck I dunno)

Subaru parts are expensive as hell.
