Quick question to Impreza Specialists: What color is the rear LSD fluid? I just did my weekly visual check on my WRX and saw a black line running down from the LSD in the back. There is no oil on the ground. I only have 2000 miles, is it time for a dealer check up on this?

The LSD fluid is sealed inside the VC housing. Now you may be seeing diff fluid, which is a lighter yellow color, but it goes dark after some use. Get the dealer to check it.
