Sean at Rallitek just called me and told me the AVO distributor is closed until Monday due to family emergency, so that means I'm delayed in my turbo install by one week

I called Sean at Rallitek and he said everything went just fine, so now I'm off to go see the car on the Dyno at Matrix Enginnering, hopefully after that I'm driving a turboed GC home, (the long and twisty way of course)

I was just thinking about your spiffy new turbine. Care to test it on the St Helens trip... or again out at Rocky Pt? The combo of AVO kit and cams will be quite the dynamo ! Put up some photos if you have a chance.

I am newbie to turbo

After you install all the bolt-on parts for the turbo, what do you need to tune (eg, ecu)? Any specific program that you need to run?

The AVO kit comes with LINK engine management. In my case Sean did all the adjustments on the LINK.

I'd have to stay that I'm having to re-learn driving my car, what Rallitek and SPO says is true this is a definite 75% increase in power. This week Sean will be adding an AVO fuel pump. (it's still wanting more fuel that I can deliver at the top end) So woohoo I'm halfway to the stage 2!! He will also be working on the AVO/LINK stuff that removes the CEL. Speaking of CEL's, I have to remove my PO420 fix from ponyexpress.com (which I had when N/A) because I can't get a correct reading on my air/fuel meter with it on. I will also be getting my CNC front strut tower brace modified so that it will fit behind my TMIC. All this should be done by the end of the week. We did some pretty hard driving on St. Helens yesterday and the kit ran awesome!!

radar-absorbant fog screens....sounds patentable to me, or I wonder if they're already out there by Skunk Works.
Hey, will you let us know how the dyno goes....
or would you rather keep a level of stelth hehehe

Any more impressions? I'm very interested in this kit, but I'm thinking of getting the cobb cams first, did Sean say anything about them being beneficial with the turbo setup?

Sean said that with the maps that came with the LINK, the Cobb cams have been a slight tuning pain in the arse, however almost all seems to be fine right now, I was running really rich at first mainly due to the cams, howver continuing tuning by Mr. LINK himself (Sean Sexton) that issue appears to have been resolved. Sean does beleive that there is slight benefit to HP with the cams, but I currently don't have any dyno data to verify this or not.

Then it sounds like I should just save the money I would have spent on cams for the kit. It sounds like you are really happy with it, any further impressions from the past week or so?

I'am very happy with the kit, and extremely happy with everyone at Rallitek. They have earned a long time customer in me. After a week of driving and more tuning, I'm becoming acclimated to the new performance finally, probably will keep bugging Sean with tuning a couple of more times, I'm also working on dealing with my modified torque converter on this 4eat of mine, the darn stall is so high that it does funny things when I really mash the pedal from a dead stop. We did get the new AVO fuel pump in which helped on fuel delivery at top end, now I just need to add injectors and I can go to 9psi
