Default Who tunes a UTEC?

I live in Knoxville, Tn and Im wondering who could fine tune a UTEC on a 01RS with a 02WRX motor?

Hopefully within a 3 hour drive.

Is it just a bone stock WRX motor with all the usual associated WRX exhaust/headers/uppipe/turbo/injectors?

If it is - just run a stage 1 map.

Save you a crap load of cash.

Its just a bone stock WRX motor with a BOV and a up-pipe.

I dont think he has an exhaust on it.....its sounds alittle different but looks the same.

That's what I was about to say

If it's literally a stock WRX motor, wiring harness and ECU, run the TXS stage 1 map and tune it yourself - it's fun!

It would be a nightmare to me. I cant tune anything like that.

I would end up a 15,000 bomb.

I want to find somebody that can fine turn it on a dyno.

dude its really easy to safely tune it yourself.
Make changes in small increments, and log a run between changes.
Look at the knock count adn a/f column
00 in knock and rich in a/f= SAFE!
Trust me you can go MUCH leaner and 2-5 degrees more timing in most places on stage 1.
Someplaces need less timing and more fuel too.

I dont have the car yet but I getting it Friday or Saturday.
I have printed out the owners manuel from the turbo XS web site.

I am just going to have to educate myself and figure it out that way.

Wish me luck, but if anybody in East Tennessee knows how to fine tune the UTEC it wont hurt my feelings if I had some help.
