Default Remove and Install New Engine.. Possible Help?

I am getting my 323 GTX clip in about 5 days. I have a friends dad that said he would help out with removing and installing the new engine. But seeing as it isnt firm and he wasnt gonna charge me really I have to be flexible. But I was kind of hoping to do all this on the 16th. So i decided to see what kind of feedback I would get from all of you on help. I have no real tools.. only the normal screw drivers and wrenches and what not. I dont have a engine hoist, or air tools. I have to remove the engine from the old clip.. and remove the 1.9 from my escort now.. and put the GTX into it. I plan on doing the wiring and hooking up of stuff myself. I wasnt sure if you needed actual knowledge on the engine to pull it out and to put another one in or if anyone could simply look at the haynes manual and know what to pull off and where to pull it out. If anyone is willing to help out let me know. I will provide the normal food and drinks and money for beer or whatever. If no one can really help then I guess I will just wait for my friends dad. Thanks in advance.

Thanks so far. I am hoping people with the right tools. I guess and engine hoist, will come through. Is pulling a motor out of a car pretty easy? I mean can we look at a haynes manual and know where to do everything? I am a complete n00b.

When are you doing it? I finish up summer classes this thursday and am going to the mountains this weekend to recuperate. I go back to school on the 21st so somewhere in between I'd be free.

Note: it sounds like I have about as much experience as you do in doing swaps. Sounds like it'd be fun though
