Default Some questions

I have a 93 Impreza L with the 1.8L. I want more power, and my engine has 240,000 miles on it. I have a cold air intake and a cat-back exaust, iridium plugs and 8mm wires. I want a turbo engine ASAP. Which would be the most cost effective and least complicated swap? And should I use a JDM engine or a USDM engine. I want to use my stock tranny and rear end. Im also doing a rear brake conversion. Thanks to you guys I found all my parts for that for $230. I was also wondering if RS seats will fit in my car. I really only need the back one, but my car is a 4 door. It has the lame ass beige interior, and Im slowely changing it to Black and Silver. Im also interested in the rear whell drive conversion, so any info on that would be great.

my recomendation
do a usdm swap, its legal, all the parts are avaiable and the clips are usualy cheeper

you are going to have to swap the tranny a 1.8 with 240k is not going to hold the power from a turbo engine

Thanks, thats kind of what I thought, and I was going to ditch my tranny anyways, its got a nasty grind in third, the syncro's shot. It still launches at 5,500 rmp all the time with no problem. It hasn't leaked a drop of oil or burned any in the 3 years Ive owned it, I just want more poer.
