Default S-AFC to a 2003 RS...Cant locate Air Flow signal

Im doing a install on a 2003 2.5RS and we are putting in a S-AFC...

It seems 2003 has a different ECU setup and I am having trouble finding the Air Flow signal.I tried using the front O2 like some other version RS's used but Im not getting any reading on the AFC...

Anybody done this before...

no RS since the 98 or 99 has used a narrow band front 02, there fore you won't have a signal. they airflow is speed density, not MAF based like your 99. find a wiring diagram.

for what wire?

the map signal is what you are going to cutting and splicing the safc in line with that.

the others should just be tapped, like for rpm etc...

OT but what is the purpose of the S-AFC ... looking for my next mod. I did some searching and saw nothing really conclusive, especcially regarding if it makes a difference in power or not.

Thanks!
