Default A/F ratio in Delta Dash

When i floor the gas in my car delta dash always reads 11.24 at WOT. When i let off it gets real rich. My question is will it always read 11.24 at WOT? i just want to know if i lean it out if it will start to show that and go to like 11.5 or something. It seems to be true because i saw a 12.3 i believe once i sprayed the ntercooler kit.

The lowest the DeltaDash will read is 11.24 this is because this is the lowest level the front Wideband O2 sensor reads through the stock ECU accurately, or pretty close to it.

If you really want to know A/F ratios you will want to get an aftermarket Wideband O2 Sensor kit.

Yeah i know that. What i mean is will it read above 11.24 accurately like if i was at 12.2 or something?

Yes when Delta Dash interprets the signal as being higer than 11.24:1 AFR it will reflect that number. I can not speak to the accuracy but when I road tune WI maps Delta Dash will log AFRs leaner than 11.24.

When I say I don't know if it is accurate keep in mind 2 things:

1. the WRX front O2 is kind of a quasi WB but not a true one and from my understanding which could be wrong the stock ECU only uses it in closed loop fuel control where it would never run that rich - so it stops using the signal long before it gets to 11.24

2. reading a wideband involves some conversions of a couple signals not just reading the voltage level - just saying it is complex

My assumption though is that ECUTEK has researched the sensor's accuracy and limitations and tested it as well as their conversion logic and left a conservative distance from when it becomes inaccurate for when they lock the conversion at 11.24.
