Default Perrin Intake ?

Just wondering if the Perrin Short Ram Air Intake sold by WorldOne makes a significant diff in sound? I am aware that you most likely will not feel a performance increase and they do say you can hear the turbo spool and the stock bov more but is it a substantial diff or do you really have to listen ot hear it? I just love the sound of turbo spool and bov's as i currently drive an RS-T
thanks
p.s. anxiously awaiting the arrival of my silver/silver STi

It's not subtle at all, it makes induction sounds loud as HELL. It was sorta fun listening to the recirc valve dumping back into the intake tract, I started getting annoyed at it though and needed some cash so I sold it. You'll like the sound and quality of the unit though.

I had performance decrease. More bog off the line.
More info here

I sold mine on Ebay and hacked the intake for much better results.
